About Agility, Footwork & Fitness
I often see players who have powerful shots but still lose points because they are stuck in the wrong position. During our drills, we use specific footwork patterns on the clay to force you to split-step and react, not just stand there waiting for the ball. It is about training your body to move instinctively so you can reach that wide forehand without gasping for air.
Being a tennis player means more than just knowing how to hit a ball. It is about how you move across the court. If you are slow to the ball, you are already playing defensive. On our clay courts in Sector 75, Noida, we focus on building the stamina and agility you need to control the game.
Why focus on fitness?
Tennis is a game of short, explosive movements. In our sessions, we use ladders, cones, and balance boards to get your heart rate up while working on your tennis-specific footwork.
- Clay Court Advantage: We train on red clay because it is softer on the knees and joints than hard courts, allowing for safer, higher-volume training.
- Drills over generic gym work: You don't need a treadmill for tennis. We simulate match scenarios where you have to move, stop, hit, and recover to the center, time after time.
- Improving court coverage: When you have a solid athletic base, you arrive at the ball with time to set up your shot, which instantly improves your consistency and power.
How we train
I am not here to just watch you run. I am here to correct your stance. If your knees are not bent or you are taking extra steps, I will stop the drill and fix your form right there. Whether you are an adult looking for a high-intensity cardio workout or a junior player preparing for tournaments, my goal is to make your movement as efficient as your swing. We keep the sessions fast-paced and technical so you see real progress in your speed and court awareness every single week.
