Meet Your Boxing Coach: Tejas’s Approach to Training
Boxing is more than a workout; it is a discipline. Learn about my journey from the ring to the gym and why I prioritize safety, technique, and a fighter’s mindset.
Silent moves, loud results. This applies in the gym and in life. A moment from a formal event.
Taking a moment to relax. It's important to find balance between the intensity of training and everyday life.
Attending a "Cult All Hands" event. Being part of a fitness community is a huge source of motivation and inspiration for me.
Another look from a formal event. I enjoy the opportunities to connect with others who share a passion for fitness and sports.
About this collection
Choosing a coach is about trust. You need someone who has been in the ring and understands the technical demands of the sport. My experience as a national-level boxer and an active IBC referee means I do not just count your reps. I focus on your stance, your hip rotation, and your safety to ensure every session builds a technically sound, disciplined fighter.
Boxing is high-impact, and without the right guidance, it is easy to pick up bad habits or injuries. My coaching philosophy comes from my years as a competitor. I learned early on that power does not come from your arms alone; it starts with your feet and your core. Whether you are stepping into the ring for the first time or training to improve your endurance, we start with the basics.
Being an official IBC referee has sharpened my eye for detail. I watch for flaws in form that others might miss, like incorrect pivots or dangerous shoulder positioning. I do not believe in shortcuts. My goal is to teach you how to move, punch, and defend with precision so you can stay in the game for the long run. When we train together at Cult Tardeo, expect strict attention to your form and a training plan tailored to your level, whether you want to compete or just build a fighter's physique. Let’s get to work.
