I’m not just an instructor; I’m a fighter with 157 amateur matches and a national career behind me. At my academy, we drop the fluff and focus on real technique, discipline, and the mental strength it takes to win.

A moment of pride. Standing with the legendary 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao after becoming the National Title Champion. I bring this world-class experience to my students.

My life's work. Kneeling in the ring surrounded by over 157 certificates and medals I have won since 1997. This is the legacy I pass on to my students.

"Hard training ka result mere paas hai." In this video, I talk about the intense training regimen that led our boxers to win 4 Gold and 1 Silver medal.

Our founder Devraj Das and I share the vision behind Marine Centre Boxing Academy. We are dedicated to creating a pure, American-style boxing hub for the next generation.

A throwback to my professional bout in Washington D.C. I am the first boxer from Maharashtra to fight professionally in the USA.

A photo from my early days, holding a medal after a win. The journey of a fighter is long, and I have walked every step of it.

Receiving an award during my competitive years. These moments of victory fuel my passion for coaching.

Another win, another medal. My experience in over 157 fights helps me guide my students through their own challenges.

A close-up of my achievements spread across the ring. Each certificate and medal tells a story of dedication and hard work.

A video showcasing my collection of medals and certificates, a testament to a long and successful boxing career.

About Meet the Coach: Trained by a National Champion

I don't just teach the standard syllabus. Because I've fought 157 amateur matches and competed professionally in the USA, I catch the small errors in your footwork before they become bad habits. When you train with me, you’re learning what works in a high-stakes ring, not just what looks good for a video.

My journey in the ring isn't from a textbook. Since 1997, I have lived the grind—from local bouts to fighting internationally alongside Manny Pacquiao. When I opened the Marine Centre Boxing Academy (MCBA) in Vashi, I had one rule: no reels, no shortcuts, and no fancy machines. Just boxing.

The MCBA Way

We focus on the fundamentals that actually work. Whether it is perfecting your Jab-Cross combination, your defensive slipping, or getting that footwork right, I am personally supervising your progress. We use traditional Indian floor exercises, dand (pushups), and heavy bag work to build functional strength.

Why Train With Me?

  • Real Experience: I’ve seen the inside of the ring over 150 times. I know exactly what panic feels like and how to train your mind to stay calm under pressure.
  • Confidence First: I take the shy kids and the introverted teens and turn them into fighters. Boxing is a tool for mental toughness; you walk out of here with more self-belief than when you walked in.
  • No Nonsense: We don't mix karate, kickboxing, or aerobics. This is a pure boxing academy. If you want to get fit, we make you work. If you want to compete, we prepare you for the DSO and National championships with the same intensity I used in my own career.

Every student starts at zero. If you are ready to stop looking for excuses and start sweating, step into the ring. We train Monday to Friday, and if you have the discipline, I will make sure you get the results.
