Architectural Vision and Home Exteriors

Designing a home from the ground up is a journey. From the very first sketch to the final facade, I focus on blending modern tropical aesthetics with your site's specific landscape to create spaces that feel like a permanent vacation.

A look at a modern residence where architecture meets nature. I used clean lines, expansive glass, and natural stone cladding to create a structure that feels both grand and grounded. The hanging gardens on the balcony add a touch of green that softens the modern form.

This 6,000 sq ft home in Sarjapur was designed to feel like a modern vacation home. The combination of wood, stone, and large windows connects the interiors with the tropical landscape, offering a comfortable escape every day of the week.

Good architecture adds real value to a property, far beyond just the cost of construction. This design showcases how we can use massing and materials to create a visually dynamic facade that has a strong street presence and lasting appeal.

When designing a family home, I imagine how life will unfold within its walls. This project on Sarjapur Road was inspired by the family who will live here, with spaces designed for playing, lounging, and gathering. Understanding the client is the best inspiration.

About this collection

When we start a ground-up build, my biggest focus is on indoor-outdoor flow. I often tell my clients that the garden shouldn't just be something you look at through a window; it should be an extension of your living room. We work with the natural light and local climate to ensure your home doesn't just look good, but stays cool and breezy throughout the year.

Architectural planning is about much more than just maximizing floor space. It is about how the structure sits on the land. Whether you are looking at a vacant plot in Sarjapur or an old bungalow in Mysuru, my approach starts with the context of the site. I look at wind patterns, sunlight, and neighborhood flow before I draw a single line.

The Tangram Approach to Architecture

  • Vastu & Flow: I design floor plans that balance Vastu principles with modern requirements for ventilation and circulation. A home that doesn't breathe eventually feels cramped, no matter how large the square footage is.
  • Technical Rigor: A pretty 3D render is just the start. I manage the technical side—foundation engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) layouts, and drainage provisions—so your contractor has clear instructions to work from.
  • Site Supervision: I don't believe in handing over drawings and disappearing. I personally schedule visits at critical milestones: Foundation, Plinth, Lintel, and Slab casting. This ensures that the choices we made on paper are executed accurately on-site.
  • Style & Substance: My designs often lean toward modern tropical—think natural stone cladding, exposed brick, and large glass openings. But more importantly, I look for 'massing' and materials that provide a strong street presence and lasting appeal.

Good architecture adds real value to a property, far beyond the construction cost. My goal is to build you a home that reflects your family's story rather than a template from a magazine.

I'm Shraddha, and at Tangram, we don't believe in templates. Whether it's a new plot or a renovation, I immerse myself in how your family actually lives—where the kids play, where the grandparents lounge, and where you unwind—to shape the walls around you.
