In my studio, we skip the theory-heavy lectures. You will spend the full day with actual newborn models, practicing beanbag posing, wrapping, and studio lighting alongside me. It is about building confidence with real babies, not just watching from the sidelines, and leaving with your own portfolio images.
The Hands-On Experience
I keep my group sessions strictly limited to 5 students. This ensures that every attendee gets personal attention and enough time to work with the little ones. From 9 AM to 6 PM, we dive into the unglamorous but essential parts of the job: how to safely soothe a newborn, how to transition between poses, and how to manage the studio environment.
What We Cover
- Safety First: My priority is always the baby. You will learn my gentle beanbag workflow and how to use props like baskets and swings without compromising safety.
- Lighting & Styling: We look at studio lighting setups, how to feather light, and how to manage shadows to get that soft, dreamy look.
- Post-Production: It is not just about the shot. I will walk you through my editing workflow in Photoshop, including skin retouching and how to create composite images safely. We will also discuss using AI tools to speed up your process.
- Business Mentorship: Photography is also a business. We cover pricing strategies, how to handle client expectations, and the systems I use from inquiry to final delivery.
