Why I Photograph Families

Memories fade, but photos stick around. I’m here to grab those messy, silly, honest moments that make your family yours. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forcing anyone to smile. We’ll chat, play, and sometimes bribe kiddos with a treat or two. It’s always a bit chaotic, but that’s where the magic happens.

How Sessions Actually Go

My studio in Whitefield is perfect if you like clean, classic looks or want something a little boho. Soft window light, simple backdrops - nothing too fancy, just real connection. If you’re more of the outdoor type, we can hit a park in Bangalore during golden hour for those natural light family photos. Picnics, balloons, playing around - it’s all fair game.

What I Love Capturing

I’m obsessed with candid family moments. The big group shot is nice, but it’s the little stuff - snuggles with your baby, shoulder rides, grandma’s laugh with her grandkids - that gets me every time. My Story

I’m Swara, and honestly, dogs terrify me. Except Kaylee, my sister’s gentle soul, and Yuzu, who’s got a bark reserved for when I scold my daughter Reya. Reya’s a preteen now, hates posing for photos, but I managed to bribe her for a shoot with the dogs. Watching her with them, capturing those moments - it hit me how photos keep memories alive. Otherwise, poof, gone. So yeah, I believe in putting memories into pictures.
