This is the first look into my hands-on newborn photography workshops. This selection shows you the skills you will learn, the quality of images you will create for your own portfolio, and the supportive environment I foster to help you find your unique style.
A Day at the Workshop: Behind the Scenes
Come see what a full day of learning with me looks like. This cluster shows the hands-on process, from setting up professional lighting and styling props to my gentle, safety-first approach to posing newborns with real babies. You will see how I interact with students in our small group setting to ensure everyone gets practical experience.
Mastering Posing & Prop Styling
In my workshop, you will learn to create a wide variety of beautiful images by mastering posing, wrapping, and styling. I will teach you how to use props like baskets, beds, and swings, and how to style them with fabrics and florals to create different themes, from simple and classic portraits to elaborate, creative setups.
Advanced Techniques: Editing & Composites
The magic often happens in post-production. I will provide a detailed walkthrough of my editing workflow in Photoshop, including how to create stunning and safe composite images like the "hanging" shots. You will also learn my secrets for subtle enhancements and color grading using both traditional and AI tools to make your images truly shine.
The Challenge of Twins: A Special Focus
Photographing two newborns at once requires a special set of skills, but it is incredibly rewarding. I dedicate part of my workshop to teaching you my proven techniques for safely posing, wrapping, and soothing two babies together. You will learn how to capture both individual portraits and beautiful images of the twins interacting.
My Story: Why I Teach
For me, teaching is just as magical as getting the perfect shot. I absolutely love helping other photographers find their voice and build a business that feels true to them. This is a little bit about my own journey and why I believe so strongly in investing in education to grow your craft.
