My Albums and Musical Collaborations
Music is a journey that I share through rhythm. These albums and collaborations are a collection of the moments where I have tried to capture the soul of the tabla.
I am happy to share that my album “Bliss of Classical” is out now on all audio platforms. It is a collection of traditional compositions that are very close to my heart. I hope you will like it.

About My Albums & Published Works
When we record a track, my focus is on capturing the raw resonance of the Punjab Gharana. I avoid heavy electronic layering because I want the crisp bols to breathe, ensuring the tabla retains its natural, organic character whether it is sitting beneath a delicate ghazal or driving a modern fusion piece.
For me, recording is an extension of the riyaaz I do every day. Each project listed here, whether it is the classical compositions in 'Bliss of Classical' or the devotional energy of 'Ram Raag,' has been a way to keep the tradition alive.
The Recording Process
When I work on studio projects, I bring my own set of professional-grade tablas tuned specifically to the scale of the composition. I believe the studio environment should be treated with the same respect as a live baithak.
- Sound & Texture: I focus on the clarity of the 'teep' (high-pitched sounds) and the depth of the 'bayan' to ensure the recording sounds as resonant as a live performance.
- Fusion & Jugalbandi: In collaborations like those with the TFNite Band or various ghazal artists, I aim to find the 'saath'—the perfect musical dialogue where the tabla complements the lead instrument without overpowering it.
- Production: I prefer to work closely with the sound engineer during the mix to ensure the percussive nuances are preserved. If you are a producer or musician looking for an authentic, traditional tabla sound that still fits modern production standards, this is the approach I bring to the table.
Everything I record is a blessing from my Guru, Ustad Joginder Singh Ji. If you are looking to feature the Punjab Gharana style in your next album or project, I would be honored to discuss how we can bring that sound to life together.
