About My Studio, My Story
You might see the colourful swirls on my shelf, but this studio is where the real work happens. It is where I troubleshoot lye concentrations, test new botanical infusions, and yes, where my rescue cats supervise every batch. When you visit or join a workshop, you aren't just seeing a workspace; you are seeing the trial-and-error process that makes my formulations actually work on your skin.
My Shanti Nagar studio is more than just a production space. It is the evolution of a decade-long experiment that started with a steel bowl in my kitchen in 2016. Moving from a home-based side hustle to a dedicated studio in Bangalore was about more than just square footage. It was about creating a controlled environment where I could master complex techniques like the 'ghost swirl' and ensure consistent saponification for every batch.
Whether you are here for a professional cold process soap design course or just want to see how we formulate natural skincare, the studio is open to demystify the craft. I do not believe in gatekeeping. If you see me teaching a class or processing a bulk order, you will notice that I am just as open about my failures as my successes. I talk about the temperature control, the safety gear, and the humidity challenges we face in Bangalore.
And yes, my studio is run by a team of rescue cats who ensure quality control is maintained at all times. This space is where I conduct my hands-on workshops, from beginner M&P sessions for kids to advanced masterclasses. It is the heart of Suffuse, and I invite you to see the reality behind the photos.
