Behind the Scenes: My Handmade Soap Process

byNeetikritiDelivered across BengaluruView full gallery

No factories, no massive machines. Just my kitchen, a bit of mess, and a lot of patience. Here is a look at the real work that goes into every bar.

A satisfying look at my soap cutting and packing process. Each loaf is cut into individual bars by hand, ensuring every single one gets my full attention before it's packed and sent to you.

This is how I make my popular confetti soaps. I start by adding colorful soap chips into the mold and then pour the warm, melted camel milk soap base over them. It's a fun process with a beautiful result.

Come pack a soap order with me. I make sure every bar is carefully labeled and securely wrapped in bubble wrap so it arrives safely at your doorstep.

A quick tour of my stall at the Bellandur Social flea market. It's always wonderful to get out of the kitchen and meet my customers in person.

Another glimpse of my flea market setup. You can see my handmade soaps, tea-light holders, magnets, and other crafts on display.

Sharing a look at one of my exhibition stalls. I love creating a beautiful display to showcase all the different products I make by hand.

About this collection

Every loaf of soap I make gets cut by hand right here on my table. I personally check the texture, wrap each piece in cling film to keep the moisture out, and pack them with bubble wrap myself to make sure they reach you exactly as I intended. It takes longer, but it ensures you get the quality I would trust for my own family.

From My Kitchen Table to Your Home

When I say these are handmade, I really mean it. There is no automated assembly line. Whether it's a batch of camel milk soap or a new set of diorama keyholders, everything happens in my home studio. Because I formulate my own soaps, I have full control over the ingredients. I stick to a gentle, glycerin-based melt-and-pour method that allows me to remove harsh additives like SLS and parabens completely.

Why the Process Matters

  • Small Batches: I don't stock thousands of units. Making smaller batches means I can ensure every bar has the right amount of shea butter and fragrance oil. It also means my soap inventory changes based on what I am creating that week.
  • Ingredient Quality: Using camel milk and shea butter isn't just a trend for me. These ingredients were chosen specifically because they helped my daughter's dry, sensitive skin. I treat your order with the same care I treat the products my own family uses.
  • Personalised Gifting: Many of you ask about gift hampers. Because I handle the packaging myself, I can include little extras like homemade cookies or custom decor items to make your hampers feel special rather than store-bought.

What to Expect With Your Order

Since I am a one-person team, my turnaround time is usually 5 to 30 days depending on the size and customization of your order. If you need something for a specific date, like a birthday or a festival, just drop me a message. I love meeting people at local flea markets in Bengaluru, so if you see me at a stall, do come by and say hi. It is always a pleasure to connect with the people who use my soaps and crafts.

Whether you are looking for a handmade soap base for daily use or personalized gift hampers for a special event, I hope you feel the love and effort in every piece.

I’m Neeti. I started this journey in my own kitchen when store-bought products didn't help my daughter's sensitive skin. When you order from me, you’re getting something made by hand, one batch at a time, with ingredients I know are safe.
