About Behind the Scenes
Styling is rarely a solo act. When we are on set, whether it is a chilly film shoot in Kashmir or a studio portrait session in Pune, my job is to manage the chaos behind the lens. I work closely with makeup artists, photographers, and lighting technicians to ensure every fold, tuck, and accessory stays perfect, allowing the artist or client to focus entirely on their performance.
Many people see only the polished editorial photo or the final red carpet gown, but the real magic is in the preparation. My approach to styling for campaigns and film sets is rooted in collaboration. I believe that a great look is not just about the clothes; it is about team chemistry.
When I am on set, my professional emergency kit is always within reach—packed with fashion tape, safety pins, and sewing essentials—because unexpected wardrobe mishaps happen, and I am there to fix them instantly. For film shoots, I prioritize movement ergonomics, ensuring the actor can perform without feeling restricted by the outfit.
Whether we are working on a commercial campaign or an intimate photoshoot, I take care of the logistics, from sourcing the right fabrics that react well to studio lighting to coordinating with the glam team for hair and makeup. Seeing the camaraderie between my clients and the creative crew is what I value most. My goal is to make the entire process comfortable and fun, so when the shutter clicks, the confidence is real.
