About this collection
This studio isn’t just for meetings—it’s where we handle the fittings and tailoring that make a look perfect. From the initial moodboard to the final pin-up, I want you to see the exact space in Santacruz where we turn rough ideas into something you’d actually wear on a red carpet.
Building 'Style by Kayal' was about having a physical home for the creative process. Whether it is a corporate shoot for Netflix or a high-profile red carpet appearance, it all starts with a 3-hour private fitting session in this room.
Why a Dedicated Studio Matters
Styling is often seen as just the final red carpet moment, but the real work happens in the quiet moments before the chaos. Having this space allows me to:
- Perfect the Fit: We handle all necessary pin-ups and alterations (hemlines, sleeves) on-site to ensure the outfit looks made for you.
- Deep-Dive Strategy: We use the space for 60-minute brand alignment audits where we define your visual identity before we even touch a garment.
- Experimentation: It gives us the freedom to mix high-end Indian designers with accessible high-street brands, creating a unique, comfortable look that stands out.
My Approach in Mumbai
My studio at A-505, Santacruz West, is where I channel the 'High-Low' mixing technique. I believe style should be aspirational but grounded. I work closely with my clients here to map out character aesthetics, select fabrics suited for camera lighting, and organize the logistical flow for big campaigns. It is not just about the clothes; it is about creating a look that feels right, feels like you, and makes an impact.

I’m Kayal. My studio is my safe space, my office, and my creative playground all rolled into one. I created this spot in Santacruz so we could have a real place to brainstorm, try on outfits, and get the vision exactly right before the big day.
