My Styling Process: A Closer Look
Style is personal, not performative. See how I turn ideas into outfits, from mood boards to real-life styling.
A typical working-from-home setup. This is where the magic begins, with me creating mood boards and planning looks for my clients.
A clip from an interview where I talk about my experiential store, The Designer Atelier. We don't just sell outfits, we help clients build a complete, head-to-toe look.
A casual work-from-home mirror selfie. Even on days when I'm not with clients, I believe in dressing in a way that makes me feel good and productive.
A candid moment from a night out. Even when I'm off-duty, I love a chance to dress up and have fun with fashion.
A sweet moment with my husband at a wedding. It's always fun to attend events and see all the amazing fashion, both as a stylist and a guest.
A street style snap from New York. Traveling always inspires my style, and I love capturing the fashion moments along the way.
About this collection
Before we ever visit a store, I spend time creating digital mood boards to map out your look. Whether we are planning an ensemble for a wedding or building a capsule wardrobe, these digital guides ensure we are aligned on your silhouette, color palette, and comfort zones long before you spend a rupee. It is the best way to avoid impulse buys and keep our shopping trips laser-focused on what actually works for your body and your lifestyle.
I believe that style should be easy, not intimidating. Many people think a stylist just shows up and forces them into uncomfortable trends, but my approach is the opposite. It starts with a 30 to 45-minute discovery call where we talk about your 'Anti-List'—the fabrics, cuts, or heels that you absolutely hate. This ensures that when we eventually get to the fun part of styling, you feel confident and comfortable.
My work ranges from deep-dive Wardrobe Detox sessions, where we keep, alter, or donate items in your closet, to assisted shopping trips across Mumbai. I love guiding clients through stores in places like Bandra or Juhu, helping you decide where to invest in quality staples versus where to save on trends.
If you are preparing for a wedding, I handle everything from the outfit curation to the jewelry and the beauty brief, ensuring you look like yourself, just a more polished version. My studio, The Designer Atelier, is an experiential space where we look at the complete picture. We do not just sell a dress, we pull together the accessories, shoes, and grooming tips to give you a finished look. If you are feeling overwhelmed by your closet or have a big event coming up, let us skip the stress and figure out your vibe together.
