Community Pottery Events & Kiln Openings in Bangalore
We love turning our studio into a space where you can connect, create, and share in the excitement of what comes out of our gas kiln. From collection launches to mindful meetups, there is always something happening at our Nayandahalli studio.

About Special Events & Kiln Openings
Opening our gas kiln is the most nerve-wracking and exciting part of our process. Because we use reduction firing at 1285°C rather than standard electric kilns, the results—earthy, speckled, and complex finishes—are a surprise even to us until the moment we open the door. When you join us for a kiln opening or a community meetup, you are not just looking at ceramics; you are seeing the raw result of weeks of throwing, trimming, and glaze experiments.
Why We Open Our Kiln to You
We believe pottery is a shared experience. That is why we host these events. When you attend a kiln opening, you get to see our debut collections, hold the pieces, and understand the work that went into them. You might see a mug that survived three days of drying and two massive firings, and you are the first to decide if it finds a home with you.
More Than Just Clay
Our meetups are designed to be a quiet escape from Bangalore's pace. Whether it is a seasonal event like our Mother’s Day gathering or a weekend community workshop, we focus on:
- The Process: Learning how a simple lump of clay becomes a functional, food-safe piece.
- Community: Meeting fellow pottery enthusiasts in a pet-friendly, judgment-free space.
- Therapeutic Engagement: Using clay as a grounding medium, where our focus is on the act of making rather than achieving perfection.
What to Expect
Expect a little bit of mess and a lot of conversation. We keep our events small and intimate—usually limited to a few spots so everyone gets time on the wheel and our undivided attention. We handle the technical glazing and firing, so you can focus on the tactile, calming experience of hand-building or throwing. If you have been curious about how our reduction firing creates those deep, moody colors, these events are the best way to ask us questions while we work.
