About Pottery Classes & Workshops

Working with clay is my way to connect mind and body. Studio Karva is full of creative energy, laughter, and sometimes even a bit of chaos. Since 2004, I’ve seen people walk in stressed and leave with clay under their nails and a smile on their face.

Who Finds a Home Here

  • Beginners curious about clay
  • Folks needing a mindful pottery experience
  • Experienced potters wanting to push their skills
  • Groups, families, and kids looking for something different
  • Anyone planning a birthday or team-building that’s not boring

What We Offer

  • One-day workshops: Get your hands dirty, learn wheel throwing basics, and see if pottery’s your thing
  • Beginner courses: More structure, more clay, more learning
  • Advanced sessions: Personalised, skill-focused, for those who want to refine their craft
  • Sculpture & anatomy masterclasses: Dive deep into form, especially faces
  • Pottery glazing techniques: Learn how to make your pieces pop with colour
  • Creative group workshops: Private sessions for birthdays, families, or just friends
  • Parent-child pottery sessions: Play, create, and make memories

The Clay Journey

  • Shape clay by hand or wheel
  • Fire it once, glaze it, fire again
  • Kiln opening events - always a surprise, sometimes a bit of heartbreak, mostly joy

Bahot shukriya (thank you). Jai guru! Jai Ma!

My Story

Hey, I’m Rashi. Clay’s been my thing since 2004 – it’s like a never-ending adventure. Learned loads from my mentors, Ray, Deborath, Hanumantapa, and my spiritual guru Satpurananda – gratitude always, especially on GuruPurnima. My family’s got their hands in clay too, and that makes me smile. Teaching at IDC, IIT Mumbai and V.E.S. has been wild. For me, it’s all about making, teaching, and growing with my clay community. Sab kuch connected hai (everything’s connected).

My Work
