About Pottery Studio Membership
Why I Started This Space
Clay has always been my way to slow down and reconnect. At Studio Karva, it’s not just about making pots - it’s about the laughter, the mess, and the quiet focus that comes with working together. Our studio in Mumbai is full of that energy, and I love seeing how everyone brings their own vibe.
Who This Membership Suits
If you’ve already done a beginner’s course and want a place to keep growing, this is for you. Maybe you’re looking for an advanced pottery practice space, or you just want to work on your own projects without setting up a studio at home. You’ll fit right in if:
- You want to practice regularly and get better at your own pace
- You like being around other ‘Clay Folk’ who get the ups and downs of ceramics
- You need proper equipment and a spot to store your work
I always chat with new folks before they join, just to make sure our space matches what you’re looking for.
What You Get Here
- Pottery wheels and big tables for hand-building
- Access to both gas and electric kilns (shared kiln firing services, so you don’t have to worry about the technical stuff)
- A glazing area with lots of options
- Your own shelf for work-in-progress and finished pieces
- Flexible timings - come in weekdays or weekends, whatever works
The Studio Vibe
This is a community pottery studio in Mumbai, not just a workspace. We share, we mess up, we learn. I’m around if you want to talk technique or just need a chai break. Failures are part of the process here, and honestly, sometimes they’re the best part.
Bahot shukriya for thinking about joining us. Jai guru, Jai Ma!

My Story
Hey, I’m Rashi. Clay’s been my thing since 2004 – it’s like a never-ending adventure. Learned loads from my mentors, Ray, Deborath, Hanumantapa, and my spiritual guru Satpurananda – gratitude always, especially on GuruPurnima. My family’s got their hands in clay too, and that makes me smile. Teaching at IDC, IIT Mumbai and V.E.S. has been wild. For me, it’s all about making, teaching, and growing with my clay community. Sab kuch connected hai (everything’s connected).
