Minimalist Residential Architecture & Modern Homes
We design homes as quiet, timeless sanctuaries where architecture recedes to let nature take center stage. Our approach combines rigorous Vastu-compliant planning with open, light-filled spaces designed for how you actually live.
This minimalist farmhouse concept features two floating bars for private and semi-public spaces, stacked over a transparent public area. The design hovers above the landscape, preserving the natural environment while creating a striking architectural form that is both simple and profound.
The interior of a minimalist farmhouse, designed with a steel structure to create simple, expansive spaces that hover over the site. The open-plan living area is defined by floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing the uninterrupted landscape to become the primary focus.
A weekend retreat designed to be a private, quiet, and reclusive space. The minimalist, neutral architecture, with its clean lines and extensive glazing, steps back to allow the lush surrounding landscape to take center stage.
The design for this weekend retreat seamlessly integrates the home with its garden. A simple stone path and steps lead from the lawn to the house, blurring the line between the built structure and the natural environment.
The approach to the minimalist weekend retreat is framed by a long driveway and vibrant foliage. The simple, box-like form of the house appears at the end of the path, showcasing our belief in architecture that complements rather than dominates nature.
This small farmhouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad was designed as a family recluse with a focus on sustainability. The form evolved from the need for large overhangs to mitigate solar heat gain, which also create a semi-open verandah perfect for lounging.
A house is more than its aesthetics; it is about the people who inhabit it. This video captures the life within one of our residential projects, illustrating our belief that good design brings families together and creates a place where people can simply "be".
About this collection
We begin every home design with an extensive study of the site's natural light and wind patterns to minimize energy use, not just to dictate the look. For our residential projects, this often means creating specific overhangs or courtyards that act as natural cooling systems, ensuring your home remains comfortable throughout the year without heavy reliance on artificial climate control.
Architecture is not about creating a stage set for your life; it is about building the infrastructure that allows your life to unfold with grace. When we approach a residential project, our primary goal is to strip away the noise. We are not interested in creating a home that mimics a Pinterest board. We are interested in creating a structure that works.
The Process of Simplicity
We start with the fundamentals. If a wall is not load-bearing and inhibits the flow of light or movement, we remove it. We utilize BWP Marine Grade Plywood and handleless joinery not because it is trendy, but because it creates clean, uninterrupted surfaces that reduce visual clutter. Our use of materials like Italian marble or seamless micro-concrete is deliberate; these are finishes that age well and ground the space.
Vastu and Modern Living
We understand that for many Indian families, Vastu is not a superstition but a framework for order. We integrate Vastu compliance into the earliest stages of our architectural layout optimization. This is never an afterthought or a constraint that ruins the design. Instead, we use it to dictate the placement of the work triangle in kitchens, the orientation of sleeping zones, and the flow of air throughout the house.
Designing for Connection
Many of our homes are organized around courtyards. Whether it is a large H-shaped plan for entertaining or a compact layout for a weekend retreat, the courtyard serves as the lungs of the house. It brings the sky inside. It allows us to use glass walls to bridge the gap between the interior living space and the landscape, ensuring you are never truly shut off from the outdoors. If you are looking for a home that values calm, structural honesty, and intelligent space planning over glitz, we are the right studio to talk to.
