Retail and Experience Center Design: Honest, Transparent Spaces
We design retail environments as physical extensions of your brand. Our approach uses transparency and simple, powerful forms to create spaces that draw people in and tell your story.
We make boxes. This simple statement captures our design for this experience center, a pure glass cuboid that stands out in a complex urban fabric. Its fundamental simplicity and transparency make it an approachable and memorable landmark.
For this sales center on a busy Bangalore road, we designed an open, transparent facade to invite people inside impulsively. The entire interior, including the project model, is visible from the street, embodying a spirit of openness and quality.
The VPG Office & Experience Centre in Bangalore is a 1500 sqft minimalist space designed with a simple steel structure and expansive glass facades. It presents a restrained and calm identity that contrasts with the chaotic energy of the busy street it faces.
This video shows the experience center we designed in Whitefield, Bangalore. Located on a busy road, the design prioritizes visibility and approachability, with a fully transparent facade that seamlessly connects the interior space to the public realm.

A concept for a real estate experience center, featuring a bold red accent wall and a long, minimalist counter for consultations. The space is designed to be sleek and modern, with large glass walls connecting the interior to an outdoor water feature.
For 'Going Nuts', a healthy snack company, we designed a small retail space that creates a strong brand identity. Backlit wooden shelves showcase the products, while a long communal table invites customers to linger in the bright, light-filled interior.

This conceptual model for a premium retail space illustrates our approach to communicating design intent. The model shows a two-level store with a clear glass enclosure and a central escalator, emphasizing spatial volume and circulation.
About Retail & Experience Centers
You might notice our recurring use of glass and simple geometry in these projects. In chaotic urban settings like Whitefield or Indiranagar, a retail space needs to cut through the visual noise of the street. We prioritize absolute transparency, allowing the interior volume to function as an open invitation. This isn't just an aesthetic choice; it is a deliberate strategy to ensure your brand is visible, approachable, and distinct from the cluttered streetscape, forcing the architecture to work as a marketing tool.
Architecture as Brand Identity
We believe a retail space should be a clear, honest statement of what happens inside. We avoid gimmicky facades and over-the-top detailing. Instead, we focus on the core 'box'—a pure, functional volume that frames your product or service. Whether it is a compact 200 sq. ft. snack store like 'Going Nuts' or a sprawling sales center for a real estate developer, the goal remains the same: clarity.
Our Process in Retail Design
We start by analyzing the site context. Is the building located on a busy arterial road? Does it need to draw foot traffic impulsively?
- Materiality: We lean toward minimalist steel structures and expansive glass facades to manage light and visibility.
- Interior Layout: We strip away unnecessary partitions to ensure flow and openness, making even small spaces feel substantial.
- Brand Integration: Signage, lighting, and furniture are designed as part of the structural system, not added as an afterthought.
Why Transparency Matters
When we designed the VPG Office & Experience Centre, we used glass to connect the interior model to the outside world. By letting the street see the interior, the architecture becomes a bridge, not a wall. This approach requires precise engineering and a commitment to maintaining a clean, clutter-free environment. We don't just design shops; we design a stage for your brand to perform effectively in a competitive market. If you are looking for a retail or commercial interior design team that values logic over trends, let's discuss your requirements.
