People often ask me if Gyrotonic is the same as Pilates. In this video, I explain the key differences. While Pilates builds strength through structure and precision, Gyrotonic focuses on creating space and freedom through fluid, three-dimensional movements that follow your body's natural pathways.
This is the Gyrotonic Leg Extension Unit in action. The Plow Pulsation movement you see here is incredible for opening the spine, awakening the deep core muscles, and improving overall coordination. It’s a perfect example of how we build strength through rhythmic, controlled flow.
Here you can see the Gyrotonic Jump Stretching Board, a unique piece of equipment we were the first to bring to India. This exercise, the Half Turn into the Propeller, is fantastic for improving balance, rotational control, and engaging deep stabilizer muscles without any harsh impact on the joints.
