Yoga Classes in Whitefield with Guided Therapeutic Alignment
Yoga is more than just poses. Join us for mindful Hatha and Vinyasa flow sessions designed to build strength and calm your mind in our Whitefield studio.
In our group Hatha yoga sessions, we focus on building foundational strength and stability. Here, our students practice a variation of Vasisthasana (Side Plank Pose), engaging their core and improving balance in our sunlit studio.
This seated side-bending pose, a variation of Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana, is excellent for stretching the spine and opening the hips. We guide you through each posture with clear instructions on alignment to help you deepen your practice safely.
Our instructor demonstrates an advanced arm balance that requires a union of strength, flexibility, and concentration. We break down complex poses into manageable steps, making them accessible for those looking to advance their practice.
About Our Teaching in Action
We keep our sessions small and focused, so you get individual attention from Prathima, our M.Sc Yoga Therapy specialist. Since our rooftop studio is naturally ventilated, you will be practicing in fresh air rather than a stuffy room, which makes a huge difference to your breathing and overall energy levels during the morning flow.
Our Approach to Yoga
At Sportonix, we live by the belief, 'Ye yog hai. Hota yog se hi mukt rog hai' (Yoga frees you from ailments). Our practice isn't about being the most flexible person in the room. It is about showing up and doing your best to feel a little better each day. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing back pain, or just looking to improve your general mobility, our Hatha and Vinyasa flow sessions are built to support you.
What You Can Expect
Each session is carefully structured to help you grow:
- Physical Asanas: We prioritize alignment and strength to tone your body.
- Pranayama: Dedicated time to master breathing techniques that boost your energy and focus.
- Therapeutic Focus: Prathima integrates her M.Sc Yoga Therapy background to address joint health and back issues.
- Deep Relaxation: We end every class with guided meditation or Yoga Nidra to ensure you leave feeling calm and centered.
