Holistic Yoga Practice in Whitefield
Yoga here isn’t about perfecting a handstand. It’s about building a foundation that lasts, using breathwork and sound healing to help you de-stress and reset.
Sound healing is an integral part of our relaxation process. The vibrations from the singing bowl help quiet the mind, reduce stress, and enhance the meditative benefits of your yoga practice.
Your yoga mat is your personal space for practice and reflection. We encourage you to show up, unroll your mat, and leave your worries behind as you dedicate this time to your well being.
About More Than Just Poses
We start every morning session with asanas to wake up your body, but the real work happens in the quiet moments that follow. Our instructor, Prathima, incorporates singing bowls and deep Yoga Nidra relaxation to help you actually disconnect before your workday starts. It is a space where you can be yourself, whether you are touching your toes or just trying to breathe a little deeper.
Why Our Practice Is Different
Yoga is more than just stretching for us. As we say, 'Ye yog hai. Hota yog se hi mukt rog hai.' (Yoga frees you from ailments). Our approach is rooted in therapeutic benefits, focusing on alignment and breath control to help with common issues like back pain and joint stiffness.
What To Expect
We keep our sessions balanced. We start with physical Hatha asanas to build strength and tone, and sometimes introduce dynamic Vinyasa flow when you're ready to pick up the pace. However, we always carve out time for the essential elements of yoga:
- Pranayama: Guided breathing to boost energy and settle the mind.
- Cleansing: Introductory sessions to shatkarmas like Trataka and Neti for mental clarity.
- Relaxation: We end every class with deep Yoga Nidra or sound meditation using singing bowls, ensuring you leave the studio feeling lighter than when you arrived.
About Your Instructor
Classes are led by Prathima Arikeri, an M.Sc Yoga Therapy graduate. She brings a deep understanding of how to tailor practice to your specific needs, keeping the vibe chill and supportive rather than competitive.
