Tennis is more than just a backhand. Whether it is rain or shine, we train to build the strength, agility, and mental focus of a champion.

Nothing can stop us, not even the Mumbai rains. When the courts are flooded, our fitness training continues. This video shows our players doing agility and strength exercises, proving their dedication.

Here is another look at a mental conditioning session with our sports psychologist. The players are seated and actively listening, learning techniques to manage stress and improve their on court focus.

We celebrated International Yoga Day with a special session for our players on the court. We believe in holistic development, and yoga helps our students improve flexibility, balance, and mental peace.

We make fitness fun at the academy. What looks like a dance party is actually a high energy fitness session designed to improve agility and stamina while keeping the players motivated and happy.

Fitness first, always. This video shows our players engaged in various cone drills designed to improve their speed, agility, and on court footwork, which is a critical part of a strong tennis game.

About this collection

We do not stop when it rains. While others pack their bags, we are on the court working on agility, footwork, and mental conditioning. My program at Shivaji Park Gymkhana ensures that your progress does not depend on the weather, keeping you match-ready all year round.

A strong game is 50% physical and 50% mental. My approach goes beyond just hitting balls. We use specific cone drills and agility ladders to build the speed you need for high-pressure matches at tournaments like MSSA, DSO, or AITA.

When the monsoon hits Mumbai, we switch focus to off-court agility and fitness that keeps your heart rate up. My training also involves mental conditioning sessions. We help players manage match stress, improve focus, and build the patience required to win long rallies. You are not training alone. You are joining a parivar of dedicated athletes. Whether you are prepping for a competitive tournament or just want to get fit, we make sure every session counts. We focus on the fundamentals—grip, stance, and racket face control—until they become muscle memory.

I have spent 35 years on the court, and for me, it is about building a family, not just players. I focus on the basics because a strong foundation is the only way to reach your peak performance.
