From the very first grip to match-winning serves, we build your tennis game from the ground up with precise, customized drills.

Trust the process. This video shows one of our players working on dead ball and footwork drills. These exercises are essential for improving technique, consistency, and both physical and mental conditioning.

A typical drill day at the academy, focusing on forehand strokes combined with footwork. You can see our players practicing their movement and swing to build a powerful and consistent forehand.

Here, I am guiding my students through the fundamentals of a tennis smash. We break down every step from the split stance and grip to the final hit, ensuring the technique feels natural and powerful.

Match practice is crucial for tournament preparation. This clip shows a women's singles practice match under the lights, where players can apply their skills in a competitive setting.

This is Jayati, who has been playing with us for five years. Watch her powerful two handed strokes, a rare and effective style she has perfected here. For our players, the tennis court truly becomes a second home.

From scratch to pro is our motto. Here is Nia, one of our young players, showing off her new racket before getting into a rally. We ensure every player, no matter how young, gets my full laksh to develop their game.

Here you can see our senior coaches working with our under 6 players. We focus on making tennis fun while teaching them the right fundamentals for forehand and backhand from the very beginning.

About this collection

When you step onto the hard court with me, don’t expect just hitting rallies. We start with heavy basket feeding to isolate your grip, stance, and racket face control. And yes, just like my tournament-level players, you’ll be helping to pick up those 50 to 60 balls after the drill—it’s part of the discipline we build here at Shivaji Park Gymkhana.

My approach is simple: technique first. Whether you are holding a racket for the first time or trying to fix a stubborn backhand, we break it down. We focus on the split stance, the follow-through, and the footwork that lets you reach the ball comfortably. It is not just about the shot; it is about how you move to get there.

We use specific drills to build muscle memory. Some sessions are strictly for forehand work, while others tackle volleys and serves. For those aiming for tournament play, we move from dead ball feeding to live ball rallies, simulating the pressure of a real match. We also work on mental conditioning, because staying calm under pressure is what separates a good player from a champion.

Because we are based at Shivaji Park Gymkhana, we train rain or shine. If the weather is bad, we switch to fitness and ball control drills. I don’t believe in excuses, and I expect the same dedication from you. If you are ready to put in the work and join our parivar of coaches and players, I am ready to guide you.
