Elite Tennis Fitness and Conditioning Programs
Tennis is won on the legs as much as the racquet. We bring the French Touch rigor to our Mumbai courts, focusing on the explosive power and speed needed to outlast opponents.
Building a complete athlete goes beyond the baseline. This is a glimpse into our rigorous strength and conditioning sessions, featuring agility ladder drills and core strength exercises designed to improve footwork, power, and on-court endurance for peak match performance.
Agility and coordination are paramount. This video showcases our players working through ladder drills, a fundamental exercise for improving foot speed, balance, and quick changes of direction on the court.
We incorporate functional strength training into our regimen. Here, a player uses a medicine ball while navigating hurdles, an exercise that builds core stability and explosive power for rotational movements like serves and groundstrokes.
Resistance training is crucial for developing the power needed for modern tennis. This clip shows our athletes using resistance bands to strengthen key muscle groups, improving shot power and injury prevention.
Physical readiness is a state of mind and body. This image captures the intensity and focus of one of our players during a conditioning session, prepared for the next drill.
About Elite Fitness & Conditioning
Our conditioning isn't generic gym work. Every session focuses on the specific demands of a tennis match, from ladder drills that sharpen foot speed to resistance band work that builds the core rotational power needed for a heavy serve. If you want to compete at the state or national level, you need to move with the efficiency of a pro.
The French Touch Philosophy
We don't believe in vanity muscles. We believe in function. Our conditioning follows the French Touch Method: rigor, intensity, and high-volume repetition. Whether you are training for AITA ranking tournaments or preparing for U.S. college showcases, your body must be a weapon that doesn't fatigue in the third set.
On-Court Integration
We integrate our fitness directly onto the court. You will see our players working with medicine balls and hurdles between technical drills. This periodization means we aren't just running you into the ground. We track your physical durability, use physio protocols for injury management, and adjust the load based on your match schedule.
Why it Matters
You get a well-rounded game. You learn how to recover faster between points, how to change direction without losing balance, and how to maintain intensity for over 30 hours a week. It is hard work, but it is the only way to build the stamina required to win.
The French Touch Academy
We are the French Touch Academy. We bring the training methods from our base in France directly to Mumbai to help players build serious grit. We don't sugarcoat the process because becoming a champion requires real sacrifice and dedication.
