Competitive Tennis Coaching for Tournament Players
We don’t just teach tennis, we train champions. From school-level DSO and CISCE matches to state-wide SFA championships, our players are consistently hitting the podium.
Another proud moment at the SFA Championship. Our champions Pradhyuman Savant secured a bronze medal and Vyom Shivmath won the gold medal in the Under 14 singles category. Their success shows the strength of our individual player development.
Our young guns, Vyom and Pradhyuman, securing the gold in the U/16 team event at the MSSA Annual Inter School Lawn Tennis Tournament. It shows their strength not just as individuals but as a team.
Congratulations to Gyanvi Shivmath for her incredible back to back wins in the Lawn Tennis Girls finals. Her dedication is immense, and here she is receiving her trophy and certificate at the TPL ASA Tennis Academy tournament.
Our 'Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka', Gyaanvi Shivmath, with her U-10 girls singles silver medal at the SFA Championship. Her consistent performance at such a young age is truly inspiring for everyone at the academy.
Our players excel in both singles and doubles. Here are Neerav Reddy and Pradhyuman Savant after grabbing the 2nd position in the Men’s Open Doubles at the MDTA TPL ASA Tennis Academy in Ulwe.
Liticia Fernandes proudly holding her trophy and certificate after an excellent performance at the Open Lawn Tennis Tournament. Her grit and determination are an example for all our players.
A special moment from our yearly tennis tournament where siblings Kabir and Sa Khetkar both became runners up in their respective categories. It shows how tennis can be a journey for the whole family.
About this collection
If you want to move from casual rallies to winning match points, we need to talk about temperament. My coaching here at Shivaji Park Gymkhana goes beyond just fixing your backhand; we put you in real match simulations so you learn how to handle the pressure when the score is tied in a tie-break.
We believe a tournament player is built through consistent, repeatable effort. That is why our training approach covers three non-negotiable areas: technical drilling, physical conditioning, and mental resilience.
Technical Development
We break down the game to the basics. Whether it is improving your serve placement or refining your split step, we repeat it until it becomes muscle memory. We use basket feeding to isolate specific shots, ensuring your grip and stance are perfect before we add speed.
Match Simulation
We do not just hit the ball. We play real points under timed conditions to mimic the heat of MSSA or SFA tournament matches. You need to know how to close a set, not just hit a pretty forehand. I teach you how to read your opponent and adjust your game strategy on the fly.
Mental Toughness
Tennis is as much mental as it is physical. I work with players on managing stress, staying focused after a bad call, and keeping their energy high even after three hours on the court.
My students are like family. When they travel for tournaments—be it DSO, CISCE, or state-level events in Nashik—I am there, or my team is there, tracking their progress and cheering them on. We win together, and we learn from the losses together. If you are serious about competitive tennis in Mumbai, let’s see if your dedication matches our program’s intensity.
Shivaji Park Gymkhana Tennis Coaching
I have spent 35 years on these courts, and for me, it is always about family and player growth. I do not care if you win or lose on day one; I care that you take the first step and learn to love the fight. If you are ready to put in the hard work, I am here to help you get there.
