Creative Art Exhibitions, Live Painting Demos & Workshops
I believe art should be shared, not just hung on a wall. From international exhibitions to hands-on workshops in local colleges, I love bringing my creative process out of the studio and into the real world.

About Exhibitions, Workshops & Live Demos
When I paint live, the energy of the crowd changes everything. Whether it is a quick speed painting session at a corporate event or a detailed demonstration, the focus is on the process—the way lines form, the rhythm of the brush, and the moment a blank canvas comes to life. It is not just about the final painting, but the shared experience of creating something in real-time that people can actually witness.
My journey as an artist has taken me from local classrooms in Assam to art galleries in Colombo, Bali, and New Delhi. While my studio work allows for quiet reflection, my live events and workshops are where I feel most connected to my craft.
Why I Take Art Out of the Studio
I have always felt that art is a conversation. When I perform a speed painting demo, I am not just creating an image, I am telling a story in front of an audience. It requires high speed, precision, and an ability to feed off the energy of the people watching.
Teaching and Workshops
Teaching has become a huge part of my life. Whether I am at a college auditorium in Dhemaji or conducting an online session from my studio in Guwahati, seeing my students learn to express themselves is special. Amar khub bhal lage (I feel very good) when someone who has never held a brush before starts creating their own art. My workshops cover:
- Acrylics & Watercolors: Breaking down complex compositions into simple steps.
- Charcoal Sketching: Understanding shadows, light, and form.
- Creative Thinking: How to turn a simple idea into a visual piece.
Exhibitions and Recognition
Exhibitions like the ones at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery in Colombo or the Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi are milestones, but they are also learning opportunities. Meeting other artists, like Padma Shri Biman Bihari Das, and hearing how they view my work helps me push boundaries. If you are looking for an artist to bring live energy to an event, or a teacher to guide a group through the basics of painting, I would be happy to discuss what we can create together.
