Featured Artworks and Custom Commissions
A showcase of my work in watercolor and pencil, where I focus on capturing the real, honest emotions behind every portrait, landscape, and sketch I create.
There is no greater joy than seeing a client's heartfelt reaction to a custom painting. I created this watercolor couple portrait to capture a special memory, and their happiness is why I pour my heart into every piece. This is more than art; it's an emotional gift.
Watch as I bring a commissioned pencil portrait to life, focusing on capturing the subject's character and likeness. This detailed process, from initial lines to final shading, is how I create realistic pencil sketches that become treasured keepsakes.
I love capturing the quiet beauty of village life. This time-lapse shows my process for a custom watercolor landscape, starting with a light pencil sketch and building layers of color to create depth and atmosphere in this serene rural scene.
For a truly striking and dramatic effect, I create custom portraits using white pencil on black paper. This process video shows how I use light and shadow in reverse to model the face and create a powerful, high-contrast artwork of Virat Kohli.
This video shows a live demonstration from one of my workshops, where I painted a portrait of a sadhu. It highlights my technique for capturing vibrant colors, intricate details, and the profound expression of the subject in watercolor.
A custom still life painting is a wonderful way to celebrate the beauty of everyday objects. In this detailed watercolor piece, I focused on capturing the reflective surface of the metal kettle, the texture of the fruit, and the soft folds of the cloth.
Cityscapes offer a unique energy that I love to paint. This video shows the creation of a bustling street scene, where I use quick, confident brushstrokes and a mix of colors to convey the movement and life of the city.
Live sketching is a fantastic way to connect with people and capture a moment in real-time. Here I am doing a quick pencil portrait, showing how I can create a detailed and expressive likeness in just a few minutes.
About Featured
When you commission a piece, I don't just work from a photo. I focus on the details that make the memory real—the light in an eye, the texture of clothing, or the specific atmosphere of a location. I use 300 GSM archival paper and professional-grade pigments to ensure your artwork doesn't just look good today, but lasts for years. Every piece is carefully packed in moisture-resistant tubes and shipped securely across India, ensuring it arrives exactly as I painted it in my studio.
Why I focus on Originality
Art should be a reflection of a real connection, not just a business transaction. In a world where digital filters and mass-produced prints are common, I focus on the 'asli wala' (real) art. Whether it is a hyper-realistic graphite portrait or a loose, expressive watercolor landscape, my goal is to give you something that captures the spirit of the subject.
My Process
When we work together, it starts with your memory. You share the reference photos and the story behind them.
- For Pencil Portraits: I use charcoal and graphite on 200 GSM acid-free paper, focusing on high-contrast shading and fine details like skin pores or fabric folds.
- For Watercolors: I utilize archival ink liners and artist-grade pigments on 300 GSM cotton paper, allowing for vibrant washes and atmospheric depth.
I believe in transparency. I share work-in-progress updates so you know how your piece is taking shape. Every painting is hand-signed, protected with butter paper, and shipped in crush-proof cylinders. If you have an idea for a custom pencil sketch or a watercolor painting of a special place, reach out. Let’s talk about how we can turn your reference into a piece of art that actually means something.
