Luxury Bathroom Designs and Private Spa Sanctuaries

I view bathrooms as more than utility spaces. They are quiet retreats where luxury meets daily ritual, designed with the same care as your living room.

This bathroom in the Gupta Residence combines luxury and modernity with bold contrasts. Black tiles with golden veins define the space, while 3D white textured tiles add depth behind the minimalist vanity.

The bathroom in Gupta Residence features a luxurious modern design with white marble-like surfaces, a contrasting black wall, and a floating wooden vanity with a glass bowl basin. A sculptural mirror and enclosed glass shower enhance its elegance.

This attached bathroom in the Sachdeva Farmhouse is a spacious, modern retreat with a sunken Jacuzzi tub as its focal point. Warm stone finishes, wooden flooring, and patterned wallpaper create a refined, spa-like ambiance.

The master bathroom at Sachdeva Farmhouse is a light-filled space with floor-to-ceiling glass offering views of the pool and gym terrace. A sleek stone feature wall screens the sunken tub, creating a refined, spa-like feel.

The second floor of the Ashraya Residence is dedicated to recreation, featuring this spacious spa room with a shower and whirlpool bathtub. The flooring is finished in Khareda stone with a mosaic design, adding a rich, tactile character.

The master bathroom in Ashraya Residence is a spacious sanctuary in a refined palette of grey, black, and blue. The modern aesthetic blends functionality with style, featuring sleek finishes and a sculptural art piece.

This bathroom in the Screen House makes a bold statement with a striking blue accent wall and black-and-white sketch art wallpaper. The white fittings contrast sharply against the black vanity, creating a visually dynamic space.

About this collection

My process for bathrooms starts with the tactile. Whether it is sourcing Khareda stone for a rich texture or positioning skylights to catch the afternoon sun, I treat every surface as a sensory experience. We integrate high-end fixtures into custom vanities, ensuring that the final space balances the raw, honest beauty of natural materials with the precision of modern plumbing and lighting.

In my practice, the bathroom is not a secondary space, but the most intimate room in the home, a sanctuary for daily rejuvenation. I move away from generic showroom layouts, instead focusing on architectural details that elevate the experience.

Materiality and Texture

I prefer materials that age gracefully and ground the space. You will often see me using natural Indian stones, rich veneers, and exposed concrete. For instance, using Khareda stone in a spa room creates a textured, earthy feel that standard tiles simply cannot replicate. By layering these materials against sleek, modern finishes, we create a dynamic tension that makes a space feel alive rather than sterile.

Light and Volume

A bathroom should never feel like a dark box. I prioritize natural light, often placing windows or skylights to frame views or catch moving shadows throughout the day. In projects like the Sachdeva Farmhouse, we used floor-to-ceiling glass to blur the boundary between the private bath and the open landscape, turning a simple soak into an outdoor experience.

Customization and Detailing

Every vanity, mirror, and storage cabinet is designed as part of the architecture, not added on later. We often collaborate with local craftspeople to build custom basins or screens. Whether it is a bold checkerboard pattern to add drama or a minimalist, monochromatic palette to induce calm, the aesthetic must mirror your personal narrative. If you are looking to transform your bathroom into a private spa, we should discuss how to align the layout with your home’s architecture. From plumbing schematics to the final placement of a sculptural mirror, I ensure every technical detail supports the aesthetic vision.

I approach bathroom design as an exercise in architectural intimacy. I believe these spaces deserve as much attention as your living area, blending custom joinery with honest, natural materials to create a truly restorative sanctuary.
