Luxe Bathrooms and Powder Rooms in Mumbai
We design bathrooms as private sanctuaries, blending rich marble, textured tiles, and custom vanities to create your personal spa at home.
A warm and inviting bathroom design. I used brown marble-look tiles for the shower area and textured tiles behind the vanity, complemented by a vintage-style mirror and pendant lights for a cozy, rustic feel.
This angle of the bathroom shows the full space, including the wall-mounted toilet and the beautiful artwork. The consistent use of warm tones and materials creates a cohesive and luxurious powder room.
A conceptual design for a truly unique bathroom corner. This vision features a stone-walled grotto with a rainfall shower cascading into a basin, creating an indoor oasis that connects you with nature.
Another view of the bold black marble bathroom. This shot highlights the spacious layout, the wooden door that adds warmth, and the sleek, modern fixtures that complete the high-end look.
A look at a small but luxurious bathroom I designed in Mumbai. The space features a mix of marble and textured tiles, a backlit mirror, and a stylish vessel sink to maximize style in a compact footprint.
About this collection
We find that most people forget that bathrooms need smart storage, so we plan hidden cabinets for toiletries right next to the vanity. It keeps the counters clean and the look consistent, making even a small powder room feel like a hotel spa.
Designing a bathroom in a dense city like Mumbai presents unique challenges, primarily space and moisture control. Whether we are transforming a compact powder room or a master ensuite, our focus remains on functionality that hides clutter without sacrificing elegance. We often use materials like Italian marble for that rich look or large format glazed vitrified tiles which require fewer grout lines, making smaller spaces appear significantly larger.
Lighting often makes or breaks a bathroom. We prefer a layered approach, combining warm profile LED strips behind mirrors with ambient ceiling lights to create a relaxing mood. For smaller homes in areas like Borivali or Bandra, we suggest wall-mounted toilets and vanity units to keep the floor clear, which instantly makes the room feel more open.
We also pay close attention to waterproofing and plumbing layouts during renovation. It is not just about the surface finishes like fluted panels or gold-finish hardware. It is about ensuring the pipes and drainage are handled properly so you do not deal with dampness later. When we plan these rooms, we look at where the shower area sits relative to the door and vanity to prevent water splatter. It is about creating a space that feels like your personal getaway at the end of the day.
