We approach bathrooms not just as functional utilities, but as private sanctuaries. Through artisanal materials, custom vanities, and sculptural lighting, we transform these spaces into immersive retreats that reflect the character of your home.

About Artfully Designed Bathrooms

Instead of hiding bathrooms away, we treat them as extensions of your living space. We look for ways to bring in character, whether it is using hand-chiseled stone lights to create warmth or concealing doors behind fluted paneling to make the room feel like a continuous, calm retreat.

Luxury in a home is often defined by the spaces we use in solitude. We believe the bathroom should be just as carefully considered as the living room or the dining hall. Our approach is to move beyond standard tiling and sanitary ware, creating an environment that feels tactile and personal.

Materiality and Craft

We rely on deep material exploration to set the mood. For instance, in our Kolkata projects, we have utilized vibrant green and white terrazzo to introduce playfulness, while geometric marble patterns in New Delhi create a timeless, Art Deco-inspired grandeur. We often collaborate with local artisans to integrate traditional techniques into these rooms. This might look like a custom stone washbasin carved by hand or brass fixtures that acquire a natural patina over time.

Seamless Functionality

Design should never compromise usability. Our work focuses on the intersection of form and convenience. We hide storage behind fluted wall paneling to reduce visual clutter, ensuring that the room feels like a suite rather than a utility space. We also prioritize lighting as a sculptural element. Rather than relying on generic overhead bright lights, we integrate wall sconces and ambient lighting that wash the surfaces in a soft, inviting glow.

Bringing the Outside In

Whether it is the use of Sabyasachi wallpaper to create a moody, evocative backdrop or integrating large mirrors to pull in natural light and expand the room, we aim to make these private areas feel like an escape. If you are looking to move away from predictable, cookie-cutter bathroom designs and want a space that feels like it belongs to your home’s wider narrative, we are here to design it with you.
