Advanced Yoga Asanas and Inversion Training in Delhi NCR
Real progress demands discipline, not just repetition. If you are ready for advanced asanas, inversions, and deeper flexibility, I am here to guide you through the fire of practice.
This sequence shows a student working on standing leg-raise variations, or Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, using a wall support. We focus on progressing from a basic hold to a full side-bend, which challenges balance, strengthens the legs, and stretches the entire side body.
This video is a montage of the dynamic and challenging poses we practice in our advanced classes. You can see students working on everything from wall-assisted inversions and splits to deep, prop-supported backbends, showcasing the variety and intensity of the training.
Progress in yoga is a journey of consistent effort. This clip highlights various students in different stages of their advanced practice, from assisted handstand splits to deep backbends. It shows that with guidance, anyone can work towards these challenging postures.
Backbends, or heart-openers, are a core part of our practice. This video shows students using wall ropes and receiving partner assistance to safely explore deep backbends. This work improves posture, boosts energy, and builds spinal strength.
Your practice becomes a part of you. Here, one of my students demonstrates advanced poses like the full split (Hanumanasana) and arm balances in a public space. This shows the confidence and physical mastery that comes from dedicated yoga training.
About Deepen Your Practice: Advanced Asanas
Mastering advanced poses like Hanumanasana or headstands requires more than willpower; it requires precise alignment. In these sessions, we use Iyengar-style rope walls and heavy props to safely unlock your potential. These tools provide the necessary traction for the spine and the stability required to hold inversions longer, allowing you to move beyond the basics.
Why Advanced Practice Requires Precision
Many practitioners reach a plateau because they rely on momentum rather than alignment. In my studio, we do not jump into complex poses. We use props like chairs, blocks, and wall-mounted ropes to deconstruct the anatomy of an asana. This method makes advanced practice safer and more effective. Whether you are working on spinal traction for cervical issues or building the strength for arm balances, we focus on the foundation first.
The Path of Discipline
Real change, or parivartan, does not come from doing what feels good. It comes from pushing through the resistance. My advanced sessions are intense. We work on:
- Rope Yoga (Yoga Kurunta): Using gravity to open the chest, lengthen the spine, and safely practice inversions.
- Deep Flexibility: Targeted training for splits and hip openers using manual adjustments.
- Arm Balances: Building the core stability and shoulder strength needed for peak poses.

Where do these sessions happen? I conduct these private, prop-heavy sessions at my studio in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar Phase 1. For serious practitioners, this environment provides the equipment necessary that home practice often lacks.
Do I need my own equipment? No. I provide the ropes, blocks, and chairs. Your only responsibility is to show up with consistency and the willingness to work hard.
Ye raasta aasan nahi hai. Jalana padega apne aap ko. (This path is not easy. You have to push yourself). If you are ready to commit to this level of training, I am ready to guide you.
