Authentic Classical Hatha Yoga in Dwarka
Welcome to our space of practice. Here, yoga is a path toward holistic health and inner peace, guided by the Five Points of Yoga, open to all who seek balance.
Welcome to our yoga hall. Here, we guide students through the classical Hatha yoga sequence, ensuring a supportive and focused environment for everyone, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
We believe in proper alignment to ensure a safe and effective practice. Our instructors provide personal, hands-on adjustments, helping you deepen your understanding of each asana, like this Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Spinal Twist).
Peace of mind is happiness. Our classes conclude with guided relaxation and meditation, allowing you to absorb the benefits of your practice and cultivate inner stillness in a group setting.
For students ready to deepen their practice, we offer guidance in advanced asanas like Sirsasana (Headstand). This image shows students at different stages of learning the pose, supported by our step-by-step method.
We make yoga fun and accessible for our youngest students. Our summer kids' yoga program uses stories and chants to build focus, flexibility, and confidence in children aged 5 to 12.
Our prenatal yoga classes offer a gentle, low-impact routine for expecting mothers. We focus on exercises that improve sleep, increase strength, and decrease common discomforts associated with pregnancy.
Precision in practice is key. In our Asana and Pranayama Correction workshops, we provide detailed feedback to refine your postures and breathing techniques, helping you get the most out of every session.
Proper breathing, or pranayama, is a vital part of yoga. We teach techniques to control the breath, which helps calm the mind, increase vital energy, and bring balance to the body.
About Featured
We focus on hands-on alignment corrections rather than just demonstrating moves. When you join our hall, our instructors actively guide your posture, ensuring you understand the mechanics of each asana, from a simple spinal twist to a complex inversion, so you practice safely and with the right focus.
The Sivananda Approach
Our practice at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dwarka Centre is rooted in the Five Points of Yoga as taught by Swami Vishnudevananda: Proper Exercise (Asanas), Proper Breathing (Pranayama), Proper Relaxation (Savasana), Proper Diet, and Positive Thinking and Meditation. This is not a gym-style workout; it is a systematic, classical Hatha yoga method designed to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit.
