A Spiritual Sanctuary for Yoga and Tradition
Welcome to our nonprofit centre in Dwarka, where we practice yoga as a path to peace, community, and inner balance.
Blessed Self! This is a view of our group meditation session in progress. Meditating together in a large group creates a powerful spiritual atmosphere that helps everyone experience a deeper state of peace and stillness.
Here you can see our community engaged in a devotional chanting session, or kirtan. The collective singing of mantras like 'Radha Krishna Govind Gopal' fills the hall with positive vibrations and opens the heart.
All are welcome to join our weekly Sunday puja. This is a traditional worship ceremony where we make offerings to the divine, like this puja for the Goddess Lakshmi, to cultivate devotion and receive blessings.
I invite you on a brief tour of our Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Dwarka. You can see our spacious yoga halls, the serene atmosphere, and a glimpse of an asana class in session, showing the complete environment for your practice.
We celebrate major festivals with the entire community. This was our invitation for the Maha Shivratri celebration, an all night event of pooja, havan, and bhajans dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The gentle flame of a diya accompanied by the sacred chant of 'Jai Guru Dev'. This represents the light of knowledge and the inner peace that we cultivate through our spiritual practices at the centre.
About Featured
Walking into our centre on a Sunday, you will find a space that prioritizes presence over performance. Our sessions are open to all, starting with 30 minutes of silent group meditation in our second-floor hall, followed by traditional kirtan chanting that helps everyone settle the mind and feel at ease.
We operate as a nonprofit, meaning our primary focus is sharing these ancient practices rather than commercial output. The core of our community is the weekly satsang, a structured gathering designed to balance your week with quiet reflection. We use the Sivananda Chant Book for our kirtan, with harmonium and manjira accompaniment, creating an environment where even newcomers can participate without feeling overwhelmed.
Our space in Sector 6, Dwarka, is kept simple and serene to support your practice. Beyond the weekly meetings, we mark major festivals like Maha Shivratri and Gurupoornima with traditional Havan fire rituals, deity abhishekam, and a community feast. Whether you are looking for meditation classes in Dwarka or simply want to experience a positive spiritual atmosphere, our doors are open to everyone.
