Yoga Teacher Training & Rishikesh Inspired Practice
My journey to Rishikesh was a total pivot, a leap of faith that turned into my foundation as a certified RYT200 and RYT YIN 50 yoga instructor.
This was me, embracing the incredible energy of Rishikesh on the path that led me to become a certified yoga teacher. That feeling of joy and freedom is something I try to channel into every class, reminding us to enjoy the journey of our practice.
Finding a moment of quiet connection with nature by a stream in Rishikesh. My practice is deeply inspired by these moments of serenity, integrating the calming elements of the natural world into our breathwork and mindfulness exercises.
Leaving footprints on the banks of the Ganges. This image represents the personal journey and the steps we take, both literally and figuratively, toward self-discovery. Yoga is a path, and every step on the mat is a step forward.
A moment of spontaneous joy and movement with fellow trainees in Rishikesh. This experience reminded me that yoga is not just about serious poses; it's also about playfulness, connection, and celebrating life through movement.
Receiving a traditional welcome in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. This moment, with a heart full of gratitude, marked the beginning of a journey that transformed me and gave me the tools to guide others in their own practice.
Immersing myself in the holy Ganges was an act of surrender and faith. It taught me to trust the process, a lesson that is central to my teaching philosophy. In my classes, I encourage students to let go and trust their bodies and their breath.
About My Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh
What I brought back from Rishikesh is not just a certificate, it is a method. My classes in Bengaluru are rooted in the Hatha and Vinyasa flows I mastered during my RYT200 training, but the real focus is on the breath, which is the unsung captain of our ship. Whether you are in a group session or a 1-on-1, expect me to guide you past the perfect pose and toward a genuine, somatic release.
Rishikesh was more than a destination, it was a surrender. My time training for my RYT200 and RYT YIN 50 certifications taught me that yoga is less about the geometry of your body and more about the rhythm of your breath.
The Rishikesh Influence
During my training, I realized that many people view yoga as a purely physical workout. While the asanas provide the structure, the pranayama or breathwork provides the substance. I integrate this philosophy into every class I teach here in Bengaluru. You will not find rigid, perfectionist expectations in my studio. You will find a space to move at your own pace, using props like blocks to ensure your body feels supported rather than strained.
My Approach in Bengaluru
- Mindful Movement: I blend traditional Hatha and Vinyasa with fluid, dance-like transitions.
- Accessibility: Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced practitioner, I prioritize alignment and individual visibility.
- Personalized Growth: My 1-on-1 therapy sessions are tailored to your specific needs, whether that is injury recovery, flexibility, or somatic emotional release.
If you are looking for a practice that helps you reconnect with yourself in the same way I did by the Ganges, let us talk. My sessions are designed to hold space for your growth, no matter where you are starting from.
