Fast footwork is the foundation of a great badminton player. This video shows my players executing rapid-fire cone drills to improve their agility and court coverage.
Every session starts with a proper warm-up. Here, my players are using agility hurdles to activate their muscles and prepare their bodies for an intense training session.
I lead by example. This video shows me demonstrating a hurdle drill for explosive power and flexibility, followed by my students executing the same exercise with precision.
"Train like you never won, perform like you never lost." This is our mantra. Here, players are doing partner-resisted sprints and piggyback crawls to build raw power and endurance.
We turn "I can't" into "I can" through relentless effort. This partner-based strength drill builds leg power and mental toughness at the same time.

About The Grind: Speed, Agility & Stamina Drills
Expect to sweat. These aren't casual knock-around sessions. We focus on explosive footwork and specific court movements, which means you will be doing a lot of ladder drills and shadow movements. My goal is to make sure your legs are still fast in the final set, so be prepared to push past your current limits.
On my court, we don't believe in easy paths. This cluster of training is specifically designed to bridge the gap between amateur play and competitive winning.
Why Agility Matters
Most rallies are lost because a player reaches the shuttle a split-second too late. We use cone drills and hurdles to sharpen your reaction time and speed up your footwork. You will learn to move efficiently, conserving energy while maximizing coverage.
Building Match Stamina
Badminton is a game of endurance, especially in singles. We use high-repetition shadow drills and battle rope circuits to simulate the pressure of a real match. You will train to keep your smashes powerful and your movement fluid, even when your lungs are burning.
The Training Philosophy
'Body tut jaaye koe nahi, par sapna nahi tutna chahye' (Let the body break, but the dream shouldn't). This is the motto at Shri Durga Badminton Academy in Rohini. We provide the structure—the drills, the weights, the intense conditioning—but you have to bring the discipline.
