Badminton Strength Training & Explosive Power
Don't just play hard, train hard. Our gym sessions are built for one purpose: to give you the speed, stamina, and smash power to outlast your opponent on the court.
Our in-house gym is where we build the strength behind the smash. This video shows my players performing dumbbell presses and other exercises using our dedicated fitness equipment.
Battle ropes are a key part of our stamina and conditioning workouts. This exercise builds explosive power in the arms and shoulders, essential for powerful, repeated smashes.
About Building Power: Gym & Strength Training
Most players believe court time is enough, but your smash loses its sting without base strength. We bridge that gap by taking exercises like the trap bar deadlift and turning them into explosive power on the court. If you find yourself slowing down in the third set, it is usually a conditioning issue, not a skill one.
We do not believe in fancy gyms or air conditioning. We have industrial fans, heavy iron, and real work. Our strength program is built specifically for badminton players, which means we focus on functional movements that translate directly to your game.
Why Strength Matters for Badminton
It is not about lifting heavy just to look good. It is about posterior chain strength for your jumps, rotator cuff stability to prevent shoulder injuries, and anaerobic stamina from battle ropes to ensure you are as fast in the final set as you were in the first.
How We Train
- Explosive Power: We use hex-bar deadlifts, box jumps, and plyometric boxes to ensure your smashes carry real weight.
- Stamina: Our HIIT intervals with battle ropes are designed to push your lactate threshold, so you don't gas out during long rallies.
- Agility: Speed isn't just natural talent. Through our cone drills, hurdle work, and shadow training, we build the quick footwork necessary for elite court coverage.
Everything we do is designed to get you 'Aur tej' (faster). Whether you are training for a local district tournament or just want to improve your fitness level, the grind is the same. We define weakness as a choice and winning as a habit.
