Build grip strength and shoulder mobility with traditional Indian club swings. A rhythmic, meditative workout to find balance in your body.

The power of movement is real. There are no shortcuts. You don't wish for it, you work for it. This mudgar flow is a reminder to act, to start, and to dive in. That's the only way to get there.

During this mudgar session, it dawned on me how blessed I am for the simple things. The ability to walk, run, and move freely. I encourage everyone to pause and count their blessings; it can do wonders.

Why are rotational movements so important? They improve core stability and coordination for daily life activities, like twisting to grab something or throwing a bag over your shoulder. The mudgar is a perfect tool for this.

Double mudgar parikrama might look overwhelming, but don't worry. I am here to guide you. We start with the basics and build from there. Just show up, and we will take care of the rest.

This movement is called Trichakra. It targets core stability but also works the entire anterior and posterior chain, making your body move in sync. We train for strength that you can use in your daily life.

Here's a little behind the scenes flow with a training partner. It’s all about the vibe and enjoying the movement together. This is a sneak peek of the energy at our new space.

I love a workout that challenges me mentally and physically. This routine with the mudgar works on strength, but also on balance and stability. I'm here to get stronger, one swing at a time.

About this collection

We start every journey with a light 1.8kg or 3kg mudgar, not to prove strength, but to master the grip and swing mechanics. You do not need to be a gym enthusiast to start here; we focus on rhythmic, repetitive movements that calm the mind and gradually build real, functional shoulder stability.

Mudgar swinging is often misunderstood as just another way to build big muscles, but in my experience, it is far more about refining the connection between your mind and your body. These traditional wooden clubs are tools for movement longevity. By focusing on single and double club swings, we work extensively on wrist mobility, shoulder rotation, and core engagement.

If you deal with desk fatigue or tight shoulders, the rhythmic nature of these swings acts as a form of active recovery. We do not rush the weight. Whether you are using a 1.8kg club or moving toward heavier swings, the priority is always form correction. I guide you through the grip, the stance, and the breath, ensuring you are building strength that translates into daily activities—like carrying bags or reaching for objects—rather than just aesthetics.

Training at my studio in Sivanchetti Gardens, we use authentic Teak and Sheesham wood equipment, which offers a tactile feedback you just do not get with plastic or iron gym gear. It grounds your practice. If you are new to this, do not feel intimidated by the videos. We start at the basics, ensuring you feel secure and comfortable before adding any complexity. This is about building a foundation that lasts.
