About Traditional Indian Strength Training
This isn't a regular gym session. It's my way of staying 'tagda' (strong) in both body and mind. Some days are tough, some days you feel unstoppable. I’m all about showing up, celebrating small wins, and moving at your own pace.
What Makes This Training Different
- 'India ka apna workout' is more than sweat and reps - it's about feeling fearless and connected to yourself.
- We train with old-school wooden gear like mudgar (Indian clubs), gada (mace), and samtola (Indian barbell). My first mudgar was just 3kg and felt impossible, so trust me, patience is key.
- You'll learn traditional bodyweight exercises like dand (Indian push-up) and bhaitak (Indian squat). These moves are a full workout by themselves.
Real Strength, Real Changes
- Expect full-body functional strength, improved balance, and a stronger core.
- Especially for women, these routines help with bone density and injury prevention.
- No one’s rushing you to lift heavy – we start light, even as low as 1.8kg, and build up skills first.
Mind-Body Vibes
- Movement here is about boosting your mood, sharpening discipline, and keeping your ego in check.
- You won’t get bulky - that's just a myth. You'll feel more toned, balanced, and way more confident.
Who’s This For?
- Anyone who’s willing to try. Doesn’t matter where you start from. I struggled with the basics too.
- We go slow, take baby steps, and focus on getting a tiny bit better every time.
If you’re looking for something different, something real, this is it. Let’s move, celebrate, and grow together.

My Story
Hey, I’m Sheri. I used to talk to myself, thought that was weird, turns out it’s just me being me. Was sporty in school, but lost in the crowd, no guide. Camera-shy too, but kept showing up till confidence kicked in. Sprained my ankle once, that’s when fitness got real for me. Living with fibromyalgia, then racing Hyrox - wild, right? Found peace in the Himalayas, trekking, feeling tiny but alive. Still learning to move through life, one step at a time.
My Work
What I teach - Spin, Barre, Animal Flow, strength, plus Indian Gada and Samtola workouts.
Why I train - Exercise lifts my mood, calms my mind. I want you to feel that mental high too.
Class style - Spin classes with festival vibes, music pumping, energy up. We move for the love of it.
Progress, not numbers - Forget the scale. Let’s focus on how you feel and what your body can do.
Go slow, show up - Consistency is key. No rush, no perfect timeline. Every day counts, even tough ones.
