The Gada is a powerful tool for building rotational power and core stability. Whether you are starting with a 6kg mace or refining your flow, we focus on moving with intention, breath, and patience.

This was me attempting a movement with a 6kg Gada after a break from an ankle injury. I thought I’d ace it, but I was rusty. It’s a reminder that we are only as good as our practice, and failure is just the beginning of a new chapter.

Moving with passion is the key. This session combines Gada work with rope climbing, showing how we build functional, dynamic strength. Your only job is to focus on yourself and pursue your goal, one move at a time.

The 12kg Gada swing. This movement is un-rushed, it's about moving with grace and control. This is my story, and I choose to write it at my own pace, celebrating every small win along the way.

My fitness journey has helped me become aware of my ego. The Gada teaches you to be patient with your growth and to say no when your body isn't ready. It's about building a better, kinder relationship with yourself.

I've faced many challenges, from comparing myself to others to letting my ego take charge. This Gada flow represents my journey to being aware, proud, and unrushed, understanding that my goals are unique to me.

When I started, I struggled to swing a 3kg mudgar. Now, I'm swinging a 6kg Gada. This is a testament to staying consistent, committed, and curious about what your body is capable of achieving.

What’s stopping you from exploring your potential? Trying new things, like these Gada movements, stimulates the brain and brings joy. I invite you to come have fun and discover what your body can do.

About this collection

When you start your journey with the Gada, we do not focus on the weight of the mace. We focus on your grip, your stance, and your shoulder rotation. My goal is to help you master the swing pattern with a lighter weight, often 6kg, so you can build real, functional power safely without risking injury to your wrists or shoulders.

The Gada, or Indian mace, is a traditional training tool that offers more than just physical strength. When you swing a Gada, you engage your entire body, focusing on core stability, shoulder mobility, and grip strength. It is a rotational movement that challenges your muscles in ways modern gym machines cannot. At our Sivanchetti Gardens studio in Bengaluru, we focus on the 'Tagda Raho' approach. This means we leave the ego at the door. You will learn to handle Sheesham and Teak wood equipment with respect. We start with lighter weights, sometimes as low as 6kg, to ensure your form is perfect before we introduce progression. This practice is particularly effective for functional fitness. Whether you are looking to fix posture issues, improve your athletic performance, or simply find a meditative aspect in your exercise, Gada flow serves all those needs. It helps you build a 'Tagda' or strong mindset, teaching you that consistent, small steps lead to significant results over time. Come in for a session, and let's work on your swing mechanics together.
