Fitness is about more than just numbers on a scale. It's about showing up for yourself, finding calm in the movement, and building a mindset that's truly 'Tagda'.

What is self-love? It's more than just pampering. It's tough love. It's the discipline to say no to things that don't serve you and to make choices that support your growth. Discipline is self-love.

I used to think I was crazy for talking to myself, but it's actually a powerful tool. Positive self-talk can boost focus, lower anxiety, and improve performance. I'm constantly motivating myself during workouts with words of affirmation.

When life feels like it's spinning out of control, remember the one thing you can always control is how you treat yourself. How you show up for your body and your inner child, especially on the hard days, is your true power.

I don't make new year's resolutions; I have affirmations. This year, it's "I am wise." It's a simple but powerful statement that helps me make decisions with grace and compassion. What would your affirmation be?

Self-love is choosing to do the hard things. It's working out when you could take it easy. It's eating a meal that makes your body feel good. It's celebrating small wins and honoring your journey just as it is.

Physical activity boosts your mood by increasing levels of serotonin and dopamine. Here I am doing barbell squats, a great way to release those feel-good chemicals and fight off feelings of depression.

Exercise helps reduce stress and anxiety by lowering stress hormones like cortisol and increasing endorphins. Movements like weighted push-ups and deadlifts are powerful natural mood boosters.

This is one of the biggest reasons I work out. Taking care of my mental health is just as important as my physical health.

After every workout, I feel mentally calmer. It's a promise I keep to myself. Go on now, take care of your body.

Self-care and taking care of your body is the new cool. It goes hand in hand with discipline. Remember to be kind and patient with yourself. Baby steps are okay.

About More Than Muscle: Fitness for Your Mind

My approach to training isn't about counting reps to hit a target. It's about practicing 'Tagda Raho'—a philosophy where we use functional tools like Gada and Mudgars to break through mental barriers, not just physical ones. Every movement is a deliberate choice to show up for yourself.
