It is not just about the exercise, it is about the precision of the tools we use. From Balanced Body Reformers to the MOTR system, here is the gear we use to build core strength and proper alignment.

This Reformer Resistance series will challenge your muscles and sharpen your form. The Reformer is not just a machine; it's a versatile tool for building a tighter core and unstoppable technique.

Elevate your workout with the Cadillac. This impressive piece of equipment allows for incredible exercises that build strength, flexibility, and balance all in one powerful session. This is Cadillac magic.

MOTR training builds arm strength, improves balance, and sharpens focus. This versatile tool combines a roller with resistance bands to challenge multiple muscle groups at once.

MOTR Pilates is fantastic for building core stability and strength, which helps improve posture and can significantly reduce back pain. It is a comprehensive workout suitable for all fitness levels.

MOTR stands for Movement On The Roller. It combines foam rolling with resistance training to improve your mind-body connection, heighten body awareness, and build functional fitness.

The Arc Barrel, or spine corrector, is one of our favorite props. It is shaped to support the spine, helping to increase flexibility and mobility while engaging deep core muscles to make small movements highly effective.

Pilates props are the secret to better form and deeper strength. Straps enhance flexibility, the ball boosts core engagement, the magic ring builds resistance, and the mat supports your movement.

A simple prop like a half-deflated ball can make a big impact. It helps engage deeper core muscles, improve stability, and enhance spinal alignment, supporting and challenging your movements at the same time.

I use only the best equipment from Balanced Body in my studios. This world-famous gear is known for its high-quality craftsmanship, innovative design, and focus on safety, allowing you to train with confidence.

About Explore Our Equipment & Props

I only use professional equipment from Balanced Body for a reason. Whether you are using the Reformer for controlled resistance or the Arc Barrel for spinal support, the mechanics matter. If you are training to be an instructor or just learning to move better, the quality of the gear dictates your form, safety, and the depth of your muscle engagement during every single set.

When you step into my studio, you are not just walking into a gym. You are working with high-quality, engineered tools designed to give you feedback on your movement.

The Heavy Hitters

  • Reformer Pilates: This is the backbone of the studio. It provides the resistance needed to tone muscles without putting excessive strain on your joints. We use Balanced Body Allegro Reformers because they allow for precise adjustments, meaning we can modify intensity for both beginners and athletes.
  • Cadillac: Often called the most versatile piece of equipment, it allows for movements that build flexibility and help with rehabilitation. It is perfect for those looking to advance their strength.
  • MOTR (More Than A Roller): I love this system for balance and coordination. It uses resistance cables to challenge multiple muscle groups at once, forcing your core to stabilize constantly.

The Props That Change Everything

People often underestimate the smaller props, but they are essential for fixing form.

  • Arc Barrel: This is shaped to support the spine. It is the best tool I have for counteracting the effects of slouching or desk-work posture.
  • Half-Deflated Ball: This is my go-to for deep core activation. Placing it under your back or between your knees forces you to recruit muscles you didn't know you had.
  • Magic Ring: Simple, but it builds incredible resistance for toning.

I am strict about using the right tool for the job. If you are doing a move, you should be doing it with the correct support to ensure you are hitting the right muscles safely. That is how you stop just 'working out' and start training with intention.

I have been teaching for 18 years and I still get excited about the gear. I do not believe in using equipment just to fill up the studio, every piece has a purpose in helping you understand your own anatomy. Whether you are in my Khar West or Worli studio, you are training on the real deal.
