About Our Serene Sanctuary
Most guests notice the change within an hour of arriving. The silence here is real, thanks to our location just far enough from the city to lose the traffic hum but close enough to be an easy drive. We do not have TVs in rooms intentionally. Instead, you will find pathways that lead to quiet spots by the lake, perfect for reading or simply watching the sunrise over the hills without a screen in your hand.
When we developed this space, our priority was to let the landscape do the heavy lifting. The architecture is intentionally understated so that the focus remains on the rolling hills, the water, and the natural light.
Why our environment aids healing
- Natural Digital Detox: Because there are no televisions in our rooms, guests naturally shift their focus back to their own thoughts and the sounds of the local birdlife. You will find that the urge to check your phone dissipates within the first 24 hours.
- Sensory Reset: The sound of water from our pond and the gentle rustle of trees create a natural soundscape that helps regulate your nervous system. This is an integral part of our therapy process.
- Movement and Stillness: Our pathways and lawns are designed for mindful walking. Whether you choose to walk to the lake in the morning or sit in the central courtyard for evening meditation, the environment is crafted to support your practice.
A note on your stay
We are situated in Devanahalli, just 15 minutes from Bengaluru International Airport. While we are close to the city, the retreat feels like a world away. Many guests prefer to book for 3, 5, or 10 days to properly allow their bodies to adjust to the Sattvic diet and the rhythm of our sunrise yoga sessions. We encourage you to pack comfortable clothing that allows for both gentle movement and relaxation, as you will spend most of your time outdoors or in our therapy halls.
