About this collection

Every piece in this collection arrives ready for display, with heavy-duty keyhole hooks routed directly into the back for secure wall mounting. We carve these from seasoned Vaagai or Rain Tree wood, which is chemically treated to remain termite-free, ensuring your heritage panel stays pristine for years to come.

The Thammampatty Legacy

Our work is deeply tied to the soil of Thammampatty, where generations have practiced this art form. Being GI-certified is our guarantee that your sculpture is carved using authentic, century-old South Indian temple techniques. When you look at our panels, you are seeing the same chisel work that adorns traditional temple architecture.

Material and Craft

We primarily use seasoned Vaagai and Rain Tree wood. This timber is known for its durability and grain structure, making it ideal for the deep undercuts required in our high-relief carvings. Before any sculpture is shaped, the raw wood is chemically treated against termites, ensuring the piece is protected regardless of your local climate.

From Masks to Narrative Panels

Our featured collection spans several styles:

  • Deity Relief Panels: Ranging from 2ft to 6ft, these feature mythological scenes like the Dasavatharam or Meenakshi Thirukalyanam. We offer both standard relief (where the figure is raised) and high-relief (with deep undercuts) for added depth.
  • Wall Masks: Our 3D sculpted faces, such as Shiva or Ayyanar, use distinct hand-painting techniques to bring out the features, perfect for creating a focal point in entryways.
  • Architectural Elements: We create structural-grade Yaali brackets designed to fit perfectly under beams or door frames.

Each piece is hand-sanded to 320-grit smoothness, then finished in your choice of natural wax brown or vibrant multicolor palettes. Whether you are looking for a small accent piece or a 7-foot centerpiece for your hall, we handle the logistics and custom crating to ensure it reaches you safely.
