These handcrafted wall hangings bring traditional South Indian motifs into your home. Each piece is carved from seasoned wood and hand-painted by our master artisans in Thammampatty.

These 15-inch hand-painted wooden lamp stands are designed to be hung on the wall. They feature traditional motifs like the Yaali, peacock, and elephant, and add a vibrant, festive touch to any decor.

About this collection

These 15-inch pieces are designed with a sturdy keyhole mount on the back, making them simple to install on any wall. Because we carve them from seasoned Vaagai wood, they are durable enough to hold decorative lamps while standing up to everyday wear.

We select seasoned Vaagai or Rain Tree wood for these wall hangings, ensuring they are light enough to mount but dense enough to hold intricate carving detail. The vibrant colors are applied by hand, focusing on traditional motifs like Yaali brackets, peacocks, and elephants. These pieces function as both decorative accents and functional lamp holders, adding a distinct layer of temple architecture to your living space. As with all our work, these pieces carry the Thammampatty GI tag, verifying that they are created using generational techniques passed down in our region. We ensure that each hanging is sanded to a smooth finish before the paint is applied, protecting the wood and highlighting the depth of the carving.
