Practical Self-Defense Workshops in Noida
Learn to protect yourself with street-ready, effective techniques taught in a supportive environment. Whether you are a beginner or a martial arts enthusiast, my sessions focus on real-world application, not just theory.
In my self-defense workshops, I teach practical responses to real threats. This video shows a demonstration of a disarm and takedown technique against a knife attack, a crucial skill for personal safety that we practice in a controlled, safe environment.
This video shows a practical self-defense combination being practiced during a seminar. We focus on fluid movements that can be adapted to various scenarios, moving from blocks to counter-attacks and takedowns.
Sparring and partner drills are essential for learning timing and control. In this demonstration, two of my young senpai practice a self-defense takedown, showing the practical application of techniques learned in the dojo.
My self-defense seminars are designed to be practical for everyone. Here, two young students practice a takedown drill on a mat, learning how to control an opponent safely and effectively in a ground-based situation.
To provide a comprehensive self-defense education, I often host guest instructors. This poster announces a seminar on Krav Maga, the Israeli art of combat, which offers a different but complementary perspective on practical self-protection.
A safe community is a strong community. This photo was taken after a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness session I hosted, because self-defense is not just about physical techniques but also about knowledge and prevention.
About Real-World Self-Defense
I run these workshops with a focus on reality, not theory. We use rubber training knives to simulate real threats, practice ground escapes, and emphasize mechanics over brute force, so you walk away with actionable skills you can use immediately.
My approach is simple: cry in the dojo, laugh on the battlefield. These workshops are designed to equip you with the mental focus and physical capability to handle high-stress situations. We train in a safe, controlled space at the Sports & Cultural Club in Sector 15A, using professional puzzle mats to ensure your safety during takedowns and throws.
What we cover
- Threat Recognition: Learning to identify danger before it escalates.
- De-escalation: Verbal techniques to avoid conflict entirely.
- Physical Mechanics: Release techniques for wrist and hair grabs, plus ground escapes.
- Tactical Drills: Using elbows, knees, and palms for street application.
Why these sessions are different
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all training. We use mixed-gender pairing to simulate real-world size differences, and I regularly bring in specialized guest instructors to offer perspectives like Krav Maga. We also include POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness because true self-defense is as much about knowledge as it is about fighting.
All workshops are open to families and friends, so you do not need to be a long-time student to attend. You will leave with a clear understanding of the legal aspects of self-defense and a physical certificate to mark your progress. Join us, challenge your limits, and gain the confidence that comes with knowing you can keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
