About

Why Our Karate Camps Are Different

Once a year, I step out of the dojo with my whole karate family. We don’t just train, we live and grow together in a full-on karate gasshuku experience. It’s not your typical camp. This is sweat, laughs, and sometimes even tears - all in the wild.

What Goes Down at Camp

  • The training? Proper intense. Over 10 hours of outdoor karate training - kata, kumite, and those endurance drills that’ll make your legs wobble but leave you feeling alive. “Cry in the dojo, laugh on the battlefield” isn’t just a saying for us.
  • We leave the city noise for mountain air. Every day starts misty and ends with sun on our backs. Hiking, fresh air, and connecting with the earth is a big part of the martial arts mountain retreat vibe.
  • Mind needs work too. Meditation and zen practices get mixed in, usually at sunrise or whenever the mountains feel just right. It’s real quiet, real calm.

One Karate Family

This camp is only for Seido Karate members. Doesn’t matter if you’re a tiny yellow belt or an old black belt, everyone trains side-by-side. You’ll find bonding, a bit of friendly rivalry, and plenty of “Osu” (respect). No fancy frills, just shared sweat and good mountain energy.

My Story

Osu! I’m Rahul, Kyoshi at Seido Karate, Noida. Been here 17 years—this dojo’s more like family to me. Learned straight from Kaicho Nakamura in New York, big honor. We do karate, but it’s about growing as people too. Seen kids become strong karatekas, held Gasshuku camps in the hills, made friends worldwide. We say: Life’s short, but honor and respect—woh hamesha rehte hain (they always stay).
