About Bespoke Storage & Walk-in Closets
I do not just build cupboards. I study your inventory. Whether you need a specific height for your stilettos or a dedicated rack for 250+ sarees, my AutoCAD layouts ensure every inch is calculated for your lifestyle. I have seen too many beautiful homes ruined by wasted space, so I plan your storage to the millimeter before we even pick up a hammer.
Great design starts with math, not just aesthetics. In a city like Mumbai where space is a luxury, your wardrobe has to be a machine.
The Anatomy of a Perfect Closet
When I design a walk-in wardrobe, I am looking at how you live. Are you a 'rooster' who wakes up at 5 AM, or an 'owl' who gets ready late at night? In one recent project for a couple with exactly these different schedules, we created two separate walk-in zones within the master suite. This allowed them to get ready without disturbing each other, each space perfectly customized with initials on the door and lighting tailored to their specific needs.
My Storage Philosophy
- Inventory Mapping: I ask my clients for an exact count. If you have 80 salwar kameezes and 15 gowns, I design for that number plus room to grow. This is how I built a recent shoe closet for 100+ pairs—every shelf was plotted based on the actual height of the heels, flats, and boots to ensure no air was wasted.
- Lighting as a Tool: Wardrobes are not just about dark boxes. I use LED profiles and green room bulbs to make sure you see your outfit exactly as it will look under daylight.
- Hidden Functionality: We use hidden doors, sliding shutters, and custom hardware to keep the room looking clean, not cluttered. Your storage should be a seamless part of your room, not a heavy wall taking up floor space.
Whether it is a compact nursery cabinet or a sprawling master walk-in, the goal is simple. If you love your storage, it will work. I am here to help you get there.
