My Championship Journey: Natural Bodybuilding Prep
27 years of grind. Two international golds. Natural bodybuilding isn't about luck or genetics—it's about the daily, disciplined pursuit of a goal. Here is what that looks like.
This is the back double biceps pose from the Pro Qualifier Show in Korea. Winning on an international stage requires not just muscle mass, but the definition and symmetry that only precise peak week planning can achieve.
Standing with my son after winning the silver medal at the NPC Natural Bodybuilding Show in Malaysia. Having him witness this moment live is a greater victory than any medal; it's about showing him what dedication can build.
This is the culmination of months of brutal preparation. Representing India and securing two silver medals at the WNBF World Natural Bodybuilding Federation event in Dubai, competing in both the masters and below 70kg categories.
A front relaxed pose on stage in Korea. Even in a "relaxed" pose, every muscle must be engaged and conditioned to display a complete physique, a key part of the stage presence I teach my clients.
A closer look at the back conditioning required to be competitive. This level of detail in the lower back and glutes is the result of a meticulous nutrition and training protocol, which I customize for every athlete I coach.
This video shows my posing routine at the NPC Natural Show in Malaysia. I teach my clients that stage presence is a skill; smooth transitions and confident posing can be the difference between winning and losing.
A moment with my son in Malaysia before the competition. Even during the intensity of contest prep, maintaining a connection with family is what provides the mental strength to push through the final, most difficult days.
About this collection
When you are prepping for a show, the glamour is the last five minutes on stage. The real work happens during Peak Week—a high-stakes, 7-day protocol where we manipulate water, sodium, and carb levels to hit that dry, shredded look. One wrong calculation and you lose months of progress. When I coach you, this isn't guesswork; it is a science-based strategy tailored to how your specific body responds.
Contest prep is not for everyone. It is brutal, lonely, and physically demanding. But for those who want to see what their body is truly capable of—without shortcuts or banned substances—it is the ultimate test. My approach to natural bodybuilding is built on 27 years of experience, including international gold medals and strict anti-doping federations.
The 16-Week Foundation
We don't start with cardio. We start with bloodwork and functional nutrition. We identify your baseline to ensure your metabolism is firing correctly before we even think about cutting calories. A typical prep cycle includes:
- Hypertrophy Programming: A 6-day split designed to maintain muscle mass while stripping body fat.
- Strategic Nutrition: Meal timing and macro-nutrient adjustments that change as you lean out.
- Posing Mastery: Posing is a muscle. We practice transitions, mandatory holds, and stage presence so you don't look lost under the bright lights.
Why Natural?
I compete because I believe in natural bodybuilding. It proves that discipline, consistency, and proper recovery are enough. I teach my clients the same anti-doping principles I follow. We don't chase symptoms; we fix the root cause. Whether you are a rookie stepping on stage for the first time or a seasoned athlete looking to refine your conditioning, the system remains the same: show up, do the work, and manage your mind.
If you are ready to stop guessing and start training with a purpose, let's talk.
