Original Landscape Paintings of India
I use watercolors and acrylics to capture the vibe of places, from Mumbai’s busy streets to quiet Konkan landscapes. These paintings bring the feeling of my travels directly to your space.

About Landscapes: Places & Atmospheres
Each painting here is an original piece, not a print. Whether I am working plein-air at locations like the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya or finishing work in my studio, I focus on capturing the actual light and atmosphere of the scene rather than just copying a photograph.
My approach to landscape painting is about discovery. I spend time on-location to understand the site, be it the ancient stones of Hampi, the temple courtyards in Kochi, or the coastal lines of the Konkan region. When I paint, I am not just recording a view; I am trying to translate the humidity, the warmth of the sun, or the silence of a historical site onto the canvas.
For these works, I primarily use professional-grade watercolors on 300 GSM Archival Cotton Paper. This ensures that the colors remain vibrant and the paper stays intact over the years. For larger commissions or when the scene demands more texture, I shift to acrylics on rigid mounts.
Working this way helps me keep the brushwork bold and the final output honest. If you are looking for an original landscape painting for your home or office, we can discuss the subject—whether it is a heritage site that means something to you or a travel memory you want to preserve. Every commission starts with understanding the 'why' behind the place. I handle the logistics, from archival quality materials to protective shipping, so your painting arrives ready to be framed and displayed. My practice is always open, and I am happy to discuss how we can bring a specific atmosphere into your living space.
