Original Landscape and Cityscape Fine Art Paintings

About Landscapes & Cityscapes: On Location & In Studio
When I paint on location, like at the historic Sarkar Wada or Ramkund, I aim to catch the energy of the light at that exact second. My studio work is a slower, deeper process where I bring those memories onto larger canvases. Whether you want a landscape from your personal memories or a scene from our heritage, we can discuss the light, the mood, and the medium that suits your space best.
My process is rooted in 'vinamra chitra abhivadan', a humble artistic tribute to our 'bharatiya aitihasik sanskriti'. Painting on location, especially at heritage sites like Goda Ghat, allows me to breathe in the atmosphere before the brush hits the canvas. I use heavy body acrylics for studio work to build texture with impasto techniques, ensuring the scene feels alive and 3D.
If you commission a piece, we start with a consultation to select the reference or discuss your desired location. I provide weekly progress updates, ensuring the painting truly reflects the emotion you are looking for. My goal is to bring the calm of a waterfall or the bustle of a historic city street into your living room. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and provenance details.
I am comfortable working with oil, acrylic, or watercolor depending on the desired outcome and display location. My work reflects a balance between realistic detailing and painterly abstraction, aimed at capturing the soul of the place rather than just its appearance.
